About

Since 2014, IERES has been hosting the “Transnational History of the Far Right” research initiative, led by Prof. Marlene Laruelle. This initiative aims to investigate the connections between Russian, European, and North American right-wing movements, ideologies, and individuals. It fills that gap by providing an in-depth analysis of European far right unrecognized Eurasian connections over an extensive historical period that stretches from the 1920s to the present. Thanks to this multiyear initiative, IERES has been able to develop a rich network of scholars and experts based in Europe, Eurasia and the United States working on this issue.
